Applying for your CRB check
You have been asked to apply for a CRB check. We have an agreement with your employer to do this for them and you can apply now, by filling in this form.
Please have your “Contact Us” card and enter your employers identifier number so that we can charge them for this service.
Your information is secure, but if you prefer to call us, we can take your details over the phone.

Things you should know
Your employer has a policy statement on the recruitment of ex-offenders and a statement on the secure storage, handling, use, retention and disposal of disclosures and disclosure information. You should be given a copy of this by your employer and you can request a copy from them.
When you have filled in the on-line application form, we print off your details directly on to the official CRB form and send this to your home address with a list of identification that you need to give us. You need to check the form, sign it and return it to us with your ID documents. There are 2 ways of returning the form to us:
- If your company has an Evidence Checker, then you need to give them the form with your original identification documents. They will then photocopy your documents and send us the CRB form with the verified photocopied identification.
- If your company does not have an Evidence Checker, you must send us your completed form with original identification documents. We recommend using recorded delivery. Once we have received the form back, we will check your details and send your identification back by recorded delivery on the very same day.
Your application form will be sent on to the CRB within one working day if the form and ID documents are complete.
You will receive a completed CRB Disclosure from the CRB at your home address. We receive a copy and will forward it to your employer within one working day
